Three sleepy bois blasting a tasty blend of punk and grunge

With their own catchy blend of 00’s pop-punk and 90’s grunge, London-based Young Fatigue mold the discontent of modern youth into headbanger anthems.

Young Fatigue’s formation in 2019 was a stroke of luck. The trio were each searching for a band in London and just so happened to work within a 5 minute walk of each other. Driven by a passion to make catchy, riff-heavy rock music fueled by potent and meaningful lyricism, the three instantly found a connection.

Within months the band was gigging, wracking up shows across London and the South-East and gaining a dedicated fan base. With momentum quickly building, the band jumped into the studio with Chris Coulter (IDLESArcane Roots) to record their first song, ‘Dislocation’. Despite their heart-pumping live shows being halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the band set plans for their first release. Combined with a self-produced lockdown music video, ‘Dislocation’ was a fantastic success for the band, with thousands of streams, playlisting on Amazon Music, viral videos on TikTok and a barrage of new fans.

Keen to make the most of 2020, the band returned to the studio to record their debut EP. With songs exploring body dysmorphia, LGBTQ+ acceptance and the inaccurate representation of their generation, Young Fatigue promises to spearhead the new wave of authentic punk rock rage.

Young Fatigue are breathing new life into a heavily fatigued genre.

A rare mix of pop and grunge give us a very raw and retro sound polished off with a familiar pop-punk varnish.

“Dislocation” has enough to peak your interest and reel you in with an immediate impact leaving you wanting more.

A hugely promising band if this single is anything to go by, we’ll worth keeping an ear out for.

Thank you so much for the kind words Adam! We’re currently getting together plans for our EP release, so we’d be excited to hear your thoughts once it’s out later this year. Cheers!
