Synth-Pop

Max Tyler is a lively solo artist creating a euphoric emotional experience through modern synthpop.

Based in Devon, Max writes, records, produces and provide all the vocals/instrumentation on his songs.

He delivers a powerful high-energy live performance which is complimented by a vibrant online presence.

His music combines elements of new and old electronic music with innovative production to provide eye-opening sounds you may never have heard before. Synthpop artists from the 80s such as Gary Numan and Depeche Mode first inspired him to make music, however, more modern artists like Post Malone, The 1975 and Chvrches further influenced him to push the envelope of electronic music.

Having performed to thrilled audiences at venues such as Westpoint, Exeter Phoenix, Powderham Castle and The Claptrap Venue Max also recently played at the sold-out Altitude Festival.

“Just One Week” is a cute synth-pop jingle that radiates pure innocence, carried by soft vocals and chiming soundscapes that complement the simplistic nature of Max Tylers songwriting.

Although some parts are a little shaky, Max’s writing style drives home that feeling of nostalgia and innocence that can’t be replicated by anyone who isn’t living in that moment. We can all write songs about crushes, first kisses and emotional evolution – but there’s something about the way Max arranges his music that makes it feel incredibly genuine.

A solid foundation for the future of Maxs music and a with a little fine-tuning, he could turn some heads if pushed in the right direction.
