HELL CAN WAIT (Genet / Engineer Records)

We all share the same love for real honest melodic hardcore. With the aim to honour the passion that bands such as The Carrier, Killing The Dream and American Nightmare brought in the early 2000’s while filling the void that later bands like More Than Life, Dead Swans and Landscapes left in the UK scene specifically.

With ample experience in previous touring bands, we aim to present our DIY ethics in a precise and professional manner.

After forming at the beginning of 2021 we released a DIY demo cassette tape in April ’21 through Biter Hearts Records (Philadelphia, USA) and Moon Decay Records (Oregon, USA). Going on to record our debut 6 track EP ‘LOVE.LOSS.HOPE.FEAR’ at The Ranch Production House (Southampton, UK) in March 2021, releasing November 5th 2021 through Genet Records on 12″ vinyl and Engineer Records on digipack CD.

We’ve been lucky enough to have shared the stage with Devil Sold His Soul, Landscapes, Dead Harts, Feed The Rhino, Palm Reader, Demoraliser, Blood Youth and Death Blooms already.

With a UK tour announced for January 2022 supporting Dead Harts & Black Coast, IEPERFEST 2022 announced in July 2022 and loads of other dates yet to announce, we welcome you along on this journey with us.

“LOVE.LOSS.HOPE.FEAR” is an absolute beast of an EP that any hardcore fan will appreciate, let’s make that clear right from the get-go. The production is on-point, the vocals are gut-driven but not too forced and unnatural, which is what personally turns me off of a lot of hardcore bands so already I’m fully invested after the first track. Musically formidable and aggressively unapologetic, this EP isn’t for the faint-hearted.

Dipping out from face-smashing melodic hardcore and blending into emo-influenced riffs throughout this EP gives HELL CAN WAIT some dynamic relief from the wall of noise that surrounds these sections, but ultimately this release is a power-fueled machine that can’t be stopped. “LOVE.LOSS.HOPE.FEAR” could slide easily onto any popular melodic hardcore playlist and be right at home – well done chaps!
